Paschalis is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience across automotive, maritime, and market research. Holding a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, he began his career at inos automationssoftware gmbh, delivering advanced robotics and computer vision systems for global clients like Audi, BMW, and Ford. In 2016, Paschalis transitioned to the maritime industry with Signal, joining in its early days. Over six years, he contributed to transformative projects, including the first dashboard of the Signal Ocean Platform and the Distance Tool. As Senior Development Leader, he guided multidisciplinary teams, enhanced platform capabilities, and introduced best practices to streamline development processes. In 2022, Paschalis joined GWI as Associate Director of Engineering, initially taking responsibility for Pollpass, GWI’s survey tool. The following year, he transitioned to GWI’s Platform team, focusing on enhancing the company's platform offering with a strong emphasis on AI technologies. He is passionate about driving innovation, improving processes, and guiding his team through a journey of growth and technical excellence. Paschalis is highly skilled in C#, C++, Java, Scala, React, Python, and Go, alongside cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud. Passionate about innovation and collaboration, he thrives in dynamic environments, working with exceptional teams to drive growth, embrace new technologies, and deliver impactful solutions.
