What you Need to Know

10:00 -10:55 | Unified Kickoff (55 mins.)

  1. Welcome & Orientation:
Start the day with clear expectations, an energizing overview, and a collaborative spirit. Understand the agenda, key skills to develop, and the final deliverables. Learn how to work together with a product mindset, not just a technical one.
  2. Project Prompt Reveal & Team Formation:
Discover a curated set of AI challenges spanning diverse industries and user needs. Form balanced teams based on interests and complementary strengths, ensuring a mix of product, technical, user, and business perspectives.
  3. Team Alignment:
Quickly align on roles, expectations, and working styles. Appoint a temporary PM lead and dive into rapid problem framing—identify your core user, the job-to-be-done, and the biggest unknowns. Set a strong foundation for focused, creative teamwork.

10:55 - 11:30 | AI PM Fundamentals (35 mins.)

Cut through the AI hype and focus on what truly works. Learn the core principles of AI Product Management—pattern matching, reasoning, summarization, classification, and generation. Develop intuition for feasibility, spot fantasy concepts, and ground your ideas in reality.

11:30 - 12:05 | Problem & AI Opportunity (35 mins.)

Apply structured product thinking to define your primary user, articulate pain points, and pinpoint where AI can deliver real value. Identify risks, assumptions, and unknowns—technical, data, behavioral, and ethical. Anchor your project in a well-reasoned problem definition.

12:05 - 12:40 | Designing AI-Driven Experiences (35 mins.)

Explore the UX realities of AI-powered products. Learn to design user flows that gracefully handle uncertainty, errors, and unpredictability. Master human-in-the-loop mechanisms, robust fallback states, and how to scope a realistic, valuable MVP.

12:40 - 13:10 | Coffee Break (30 mins.)

13:10 - 13:55 | UX & AI Flow Design (45 mins.)

Transform your problem framing into a concrete user experience. Map the user journey, define AI touchpoints, and plan for ambiguity and failure modes. Set clear MVP boundaries and design both the “happy path” and critical edge cases.

13:55 - 14:25 | Metrics, Risks & Feasibility (30 mins.)

Learn how to measure success in AI products—align user outcomes, business impact, and technical stability. Understand the difference between product and model metrics, and discover strategies for managing data requirements and operational risks.

14:25 - 15:10 | Final Product Concept Build (45 mins.)

Bring everything together into a compelling, structured product concept. Finalize your problem statement, user journey, AI interaction model, data needs, measurement approach, and MVP definition. Prepare a pitch-ready, ambitious, and realistic concept.

15:10–15:55 | Lunch Break (45 mins.)

15:55 - 17:35 | Final Team Presentations (100 mins.)

Pitch your AI product concept in a concise, high-impact format. Present the problem, user, solution, AI flow, feasibility, risks, metrics, and MVP. Receive targeted feedback from judges and facilitators to sharpen your reasoning and highlight blind spots. (7 min pitch + 3 min feedback per team)
