Eleftheria Despoinara is a Director at Accenture and works at the Data & AI global innovation center in Athens. As a Data Scientist, she has 14+ years of experience in large and complex data analysis projects, supporting clients from different industries around the world (e.g. Telecom, FMCG, Retail, Insurance and Banks). In recent years, her focus has been on clients in the energy sector as she leads the relevant team.
In February 2023, she also undertook the role of Inclusion & Diversity Lead for the Greek office with the main objective of contributing to the further development and implementation of strategies that promote a culture of equality for all employees.
She holds a diploma in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences from the National Technical University of Athens and a master’s degree in Applied Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Eleni is the Managing Director of WE LEAD, a nonprofit organization founded by Libra Philanthropies in 2023 to empower women to shape the future of everything, starting with the tech industry. With the vision of a world where all women - cisgender and transgender - have equal opportunities to enter, grow, and lead in the technology sector, WE LEAD offers a holistic career development program that gives participants the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Prior to her current role, Eleni worked as a Head of Marketing and Communications at Dialectica, a fast-growing information services company with offices across the world. Before that, she was leading the global communication strategy of Blueground, a real estate tech company that re-invents the way people experience big-city living. She started her career at PR agencies when she was working with big corporations on their communications strategies. Eleni holds a diploma in Negotiations and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Prior to it, Maria had multiple management & transformational roles in Sales & Services, including Services Lead for Greece & Solution Strategy Lead for CEE. She started her career at Oracle in Sales.
Passionate about Technology & business transformation, avid learner, Diversity & Inclusion advocate. Member of the Microsoft CEMA Accessibility Chapter, GRCYMT Women Chapter and WW IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners) D&I board, drives awareness & initiatives on embracing D&I in Tech industry. Though in the global workforce, diverse talent becomes a norm, inclusion & equity remain a challenge!
Maria studied Applied Mathematics & Information Systems in Aristotle University, holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in US and an MBA from ALBA.
