Session on the topic of 'Women in Cybersecurity' and how to build DEI&C awareness, capability and competence across communities. Discussion, including reflexions on how cybersecurity could become an interesting path for women. Education to cybersecurity and mentorship programmes are among the ideas that will be touched for empowering women in the cyber communities and addressing the gender gap in the cybersecurity workforce. During the session we will discuss how to retain talents in the cybersecurity sector, as well as challenges and solutions for building diversity, equity and inclusion across the cyberspace.
The session seeks to identify adverse workplace experiences contributing to an overall sense of exclusion among women and underrepresented individuals. These experiences significantly impact satisfaction levels, productivity and retention.

Stella Tsitsoula is a communications consultant specialised in the Tech and Cybersecurity industry who works with multi-national organisations and universities to help them understand emerging technologies manage risk and strategise on a future roadmap to thrive in changing times. She also promotes the European Cyber Security Challenge events and the National cybersecurity team of the Hellenic Republic. Stella is Co-founder and Vice President of Women4Cyber Greece chapter, President of the Hellenic Cybersecurity Institute, CSFI Fellow for Greece at Cyber Security Forum Initiative and Greek Liaison to ECSC Steering Committee @ European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA). She has her own Communications agency and is founder of Space Communications Alliance, a network of space communications agencies. For more than 25 years she holds senior management positions with extensive experience in media and communications business. Stella Tsitsoula has a B.Sc degree in Computer Engineering from the University of West Attica, a PGCert in Management of Public Relations of the University of Athens, currently enrolled in an MBA program and is Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
