Solution Architect
Overview: Athens, Attica, Greece, Technology, Hybrid Model, Full time
Vodafone, a Product-Led Growth Hub official talent partner , is on the lookout for a Solution Architect.
Role purpose:
Digital transformation is a journey not a one off-event. It needs to be nurtured and grown by talented people who experiment, fail fast and innovate at pace. Being part of an agile team, the Solution Architect is responsible for the technical analysis and holistic solution design of future capabilities and features, including external dependencies, cross-domain APIs, and technical enablers / stories.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Translate the overall vision and target architecture into corresponding solution designs
• Design end-to-end solutions and cross domain integration and APIs
• Define non-functional, operational, and quality requirements
• Perform feasibility analysis
• Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure alignment
• Define technical features to enable business capabilities, fostering re-use of existing components
• Facilitate solution compliance to security, privacy, and regulatory needs
• Oversees technical debt and technology obsolescence at solution level
• Advocate adoption of new technologies into solutions
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other related field
• Three to five years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment
• Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Experience in solution architecture and design in a telco business context
Core competencies and behaviours:
• Experience working with agile methodologies / in agile teams would be highly appreciated
• Ability to influence, mentor, and collaborate with agile development teams
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, with high-levels of creativity
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with both technical and business audiences
• Self – motivated, strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple balls
